With the new regime of foreign investments, your investment in Tangier in Morocco is no longer subject to the authorization of the foreign exchange office; a simple record is required now, not later than six months after the date of investment. Any obligation is imposed to the investor; no prior authorisation is required, except, of course, activities regulated such as bank, insurance, pharmacy and transit. On simple justification financing of the investment in foreign currency, profits or dividends thereon are rapatriable of law without limit. Similarly, the return is guaranteed, not only on capital employed, but also to the eventual increase in value realized upon the sale of investment.
